Beinviento a Miami in Style

It had been years since I’ve visited the Miami Beach area and after a recent stay at the Tides in South Beach, I can’t wait to go back. The area is rich in culture, full of energy and offers travelers a multi-cultural experience without leaving the US.

Our stay at the Tides Hotel and Resort on South Beach offered everything we needed; a prime location, a breathtaking design, stylish accommodations, a beautiful beach and above all a hotel staff that could rival the best.
From the moment we pulled up to the curb in front of the hotel and were greeted by the friendly bell staff, to the front desk staff who mysteriously knew our name, you couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming experience. Everyone was happy and as I wondered around the hotel, you could tell that every guest was made to feel special and truly at home.
We dined on the Terrace in the evening, which provided a wonderful opportunity to do a few of our favorite things, enjoy the magnificent weather, sample fine wine and gourmet cuisine and people watch from a nice distance. The atmosphere was casually elegant and although the restaurant sits right on Ocean Drive, a nice hedge creates a feeling of sanctuary from the commotion of the area. Once again the staff was amazing and Diego, the restaurant manager, could not have been nicer. As he moved from table to table, checking on each and every guest, you could see the genuine concern that everyone’s meal was to be special.
As we strolled along Ocean Drive after dinner, you could feel the excitement of South Beach. Lined with restaurants with amazing cuisine, art galleries and dance clubs, this is the perfect locale for those looking for excitement. I do, however, have to admit….the best part of our evening stroll had to have been when we arrived back at the oasis of the Tides and once again enjoyed a night cap on the terrace.

This is a real gem and a quick flight from most places. Definitely two thumbs up on the Tides and South Beaching my book!
